The first modules of the program introduce you to the field and tackle the main questions associated with digital change for societies and companies. Building on these foundations, you will expand your knowledge in finance, management, and data science.
Practical labs help you apply the learned competencies and develop your personal skills in leadership, communication as well as project management in intercultural teams. The strategy labs connect academic knowledge with first-hand experience of its application. You will learn about the newest production technologies and – building on that – create business ideas as well as develop and implement marketing strategies for their product and process innovations.
Industry-focused electives enable you to define your context of application. Parts of the program will be taught at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, a renowned institution for cutting-edge research in production engineering.

Capstone Project: Apply Your Skills
Solve a real-world challenge of a business partner from our ecosystem.
This interdisciplinary challenge will prepare you for prospective challenges in the future. The goal is to develop strategies for the real world – and for real companies – using the competencies and skills you have acquired in the first year. Using analytical and strategic tools, you will develop creative solutions in a small group. Industry and university experts will guide you on this project and help you understand the "tensions" between scientific preciseness and business constraints (e.g., time and money).

Admission RequirementsWho We Are Looking For
Please check if you fulfill all the admission criteria for the program. Note that we give preference to applicants who completely submit the necessary documents for the verification.
- Degree completed in business/economics or
- Degree completed in a STEM related field (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)
- At least 2 years of relevant professional work experience
- Professional experience in a technological environment is beneficial for the technology-oriented study program
- TOEFL Internet based minimum of 90 pts. or
- IELTS (Academic) test minimum overall band 6 pts.
- For German applicants: A certificate attesting English language skills at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This proof is provided, for example, by the submission of a German Abitur certificate, which shows that English has been continuously taught with at least sufficient marks.
Exemptions for the language requirements are only applicable for nationals or first degree holders from the USA, the UK, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia.
