Prof. Dr. Oliver Lorz has been Head of the Department of International Economics at RWTH Aachen University since 2004. After studying economics at the University of Konstanz, Oliver Lorz received his doctorate and habilitated at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel. Before his appointment to Aachen, he worked at the Institute for the World Economy in Kiel, at the University of Kiel and at the University of Konstanz. Research stays took him to the National Bureau of Economic Research, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Massey University in New Zealand.
