Why I took the MBA Digitalization and Industrial Change at RWTH Business School in Aachen Germany?

This is not the first time I've been asked about my journey, and here is my story, which some of you may relate to. My path toward the Full-time MBA in Digitalization and Industrial Change began while I was working in various roles in Mexico some technical, others in marketing or sales. However, my feelings about these roles were mixed in terms of what should I do in the future.

Firstly, to become a senior manager and continue advancing in a company, as I was doing, obtaining a master's degree is necessary. It doesn't matter where you pursue it, but I always believed that if I were to study again, it should be in a field I am passionate about, not just to tick a box. This led me to decide whether to study in Mexico or abroad and then believing that personal and professional growth requires stepping out of your comfort zone, I decided to go all in, so going abroad!

The second part of this decision involved choosing where to study. I knew it would be abroad, but finding a quality master's program is not easy. I decided on three potential locations with high educational standards: Germany, Sweden, and Denmark. During my search, I realized that an MBA would perfectly align with my ambitions of advancing in a company or starting my own by providing tools and strategies for understanding diverse leadership perspectives.

Lastly, the third part of my journey led me to the Full-time MBA Digitalization and Industrial Change at RWTH Business School. What led me to RWTH was that I was looking at schools in Germany and specifically at MBA but there are many options in the market, so what made me decide to apply to this one were RWTH University's prestige, the small class sizes allowing for personalized learning, the RWTH industry connections in Aachen, and most importantly, the program's focus on digitalization and industrial change. This focus is crucial in understanding where the world is heading with technologies like AI, robotics, and big data science.

Now, as a student of this MBA, I reflect on my journey from life in Mexico City and my enriching experiences in the healthcare industry, to the academic halls of RWTH Business School. This decision is meant for those who want to step out of their comfort zone, grow, and learn new things. It's ideal for individuals from technical backgrounds, those more focused on marketing and sales, or anyone looking to shift their professional trajectory and embrace a challenge.
