Prof. Dr. Thomas Kittsteiner has been Professor of Economics with a focus on Microeconomics at the School of Business and Economics of the RWTH Aachen University since 2009. Thomas Kittsteiner studied mathematics at the University of Hamburg and received his doctorate in economics from the University of Mannheim in 2002. From 2002 to 2005 he was Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow at Nuffield College of the University of Oxford and attended the University of Bonn in 2003/04. In 2005 he lectured business administration at the London School of Economics and was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2008. His research interests include applied game theory, auction theory and strategic management.
