
Prof. Dr. Sven Henkel is Senior Professor of Marketing and holds the Chair of Buyer Behavior and Sales at EBS Business School. Since July 2017 he has also been Vice Dean for Executive Education and since January 2018 Executive Director of the Insight Mobility Institute (IMI) based there. IMI is an interdisciplinary and cross-industry think tank on mobility issues from a customer and social perspective. At the heart of IMI is the question of how mobility services and mobile forms of cooperation should be designed in the future to ensure efficiency and convenience, while at the same time ensuring appreciative and sustainable cooperation. Prof. Henkel received his doctorate from the University of St. Gallen, where he most recently worked as Vice Director of the Center for Customer Insight. Based on research projects in the field of Behavioural Branding, Sven Henkel expanded his research focus to include aspects of sales psychology and sales of innovative products.
His industry focus is in the automotive and mobility industries. In addition to his research activities, Sven Henkel is a sought-after lecturer in executive development programs and advises national and international companies.
