Since October 2011 Prof. Dr. Peter Letmathe has been researching and teaching in the fields of behavioural controlling, operational value creation management as well as innovation and business model controlling at the RWTH Aachen University, where he holds the Chair of Controlling. His practical experience includes more than fifty contract research and publicly funded third-party projects in the areas of controlling, environmental management, process optimization and strategic management. He is also a member of several scientific advisory boards, including the head of the scientific advisory board of the FOKOS Institute, the scientific advisory board of BAUM e.V. and the scientific advisory board of the Gesellschaft für Operations Research (GOR e.V.). Peter Letmathe studied business administration at the University of Bielefeld, where he graduated with a degree in business administration. After his doctorate at the University GH Essen and his habilitation at the Ruhr-University Bochum, he held his first professorship for environmental and technology management at the University of Bayreuth. From 2002 to 2011, he headed the Chair for Value Creation Management at the University of Siegen, especially in small and medium-sized enterprises, where he also founded the Siegen Institute for Medium-Sized Businesses in 2003 and headed it until 2011.
