Prof. Dr. Christian Grund holds the Chair of HRM and Personnel Economics at RWTH Aachen University and has been researching and teaching at the aforementioned university since 2012. In 2021, he succeeded Prof. Peter Letmathe as Dean of the faculty. Prof. Grund graduated from the University of Hannover in 1997 with a degree in economics. He received his doctorate from the University of Bonn in 2001 and his habilitation in 2005. Research stays took him to Stanford (Graduate School of Business) and to Aarhus University, School of Business and Social Sciences. Prof. Grund has held chairs for Human Resources and Organization at the Universities of Würzburg and Duisburg-Essen.
Christian Grund is a Research Fellow of the IZA (Research Institute for the Future of Work), Research Affiliate of the Center for Corporate Performance (Copenhagen Business School) and Managing Editor of the German Journal of Human Resource Management.
