Prof. Dr. Britta Peis has been Professor of Management Science at RWTH Aachen University since September 2013. Britta Peis studied mathematics and sports science at the University of Cologne. Following her diploma, she worked and received her doctorate from 2002 to 2006 at the Centre for Applied Mathematics in Cologne. After her doctorate she worked for one year at the Chair of Discrete Optimization at the TU Dortmund before she moved to the Institute of Mathematics (working group “Combinatorial Optimization, Graphs and Algorithms”) at the TU Berlin in 2007. From October 2010 to April 2011 she taught as deputy professor for Mathematical Optimization at the Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg.
