Dr. Gerhard Gudergan has been Head of the Research Division and Head of the Business Transformation Division at FIR at RWTH Aachen University since 2009. He is also founder of the Service Science Innovation Lab and managing director of the EICe Enterprise Integration Center at the campus of RWTH Aachen University. Gerhard Gudergan studied mechanical engineering at the RWTH Aachen with a focus on manufacturing technology. There he received his doctorate as Dr.-Ing. Since 2005, Dr. Gerhard Gudergan has headed the Service Management department at FIR in Aachen with its Service Engineering, Lean Services and Community Management areas as well as the Maintenance Management Competence Center.
